Hey, it’s time for the DarkRoom!!
The Torrance Art Museum’s Dark Room is now online! While we wait for safe reopening, we’re making our summer exhibitions available online, starting with NewMediaFest 2020.
It features a remarkable video art series from around the world called Seven Memorials for Humanity, which was curated specifically for TAM by Wilfried Agricola De Cologne
.
You can get a sneak peek of the July 18 – September 5 exhibition RIGHT NOW! While the program is a retrospective of the past 20 years, the first program in the series Corona! – Shut Down? is a timely collection of videos that address our current situation. The variety of works is staggering, from deeply contemplative and complex, to fun and frivolous. Next week brings a brand new program, so be sure to catch this one while you can!
