The years between 2011 and 2015 were the most active and turbulent times, and therefore the ideas came up to intensify the networking aspect by including numerous different networking instances (curators, festivals) in one (screening) program focussed on a specific topic (theme), the result was “global art & moving images award”. It was no more than an experiment in order to find out, how far a collaboration among the networking partners would go, whether it would be possible to create something “common” as something “new” in a common multi-lateral process. But soon it became obvious, that the individual interests and the fear to loose one’s sovereignty and priviledges remained much stronger than going steps forward directed to something “new common”, which always is connected with some personal risks, and – it is understandable that people prefer to have some fun instead of taking responsibility for the unknown which cannot be assessed, so as the result of the research remained the “conventional” bi-lateral connections and the related restrictions. A chance was missed, at least Wilfried saw it that way as a creative person.
On 19 January 2014, such a “common attempt” was presented at Florina Art School in Florina (Greece), entitled “Art & Nature”. The venue was initiated by Gioula Papadopoulou from Videoart Miden and networking partner since many years already.
