Today, Wilfried is making a big jump to the Canary Island Gran Canaria, where 13th Canariasmediafest 2008 is taking place in Las Palmas, including one multimedia work by Wilfried, entitled: Bareback – serial DIScharge” in its video version and his latest curated work created for SoundLAB, entitled: “soundSTORY – sound as a tool for story telling” – including two curatorial contributions by Julian Jonker from South-Africa and Ruben Garcia from Spain. The project includes about 80 artists and as many sonic art works. But Wilfried is making another jump through time and space exactly 2 years earlier, as well, because he is participating also in 12th Canariasmediafest 2006 and even 6 years earlier in 2002, when his interactive work “]and_scape[” was selected for 10th Canariasmediafest. Unfortunately, after 2010 this important media art festival organised by the local government will be discontinued.
The experimental film tells the story of a homeless person, who lost its identity in all the traumatic experiences it was undergoing. Again, Agricola de Cologne uses the form of the allegorical representation for pointing to essential questions of human existence. All people are homeless in on or the other way, most however, suffer from it without being aware of it. The film is a mirror of our time which has lost its roots.

Synopsis
Interactive moving picture created in Flash by media artist Agricola de Cologne
inspired by poetic texts of Liubov Sirota, an Ukrainian Tchernobyl survivor.
The work is telling something about landscapes
imaginary landscapes, flourishing landscapes
landscapes of illusion, landscape of hope, landscape of innocence
landscapes of being home, landscapes of unscathed genetics
landscape of giving home to all beings of the Creation.
Are there any landscapes any longer, did not they dry out, blasted, shrinked to minimalism through the will for destruction, the bombs over Hiroshima, Chernobyl the completely mined enviroment which leaves no air to breath, the mountains of garbage collapsing……………..
who will remember all those little children
who will be born again and again
who will never get any chance to survive.
We will remember,
we will reconstruct forgotten landscapes
But will we succeed?
The work is developed according the principle of SAMAC
(Simultaneous Associative Media Art Composing) which describes Agricola’s individual way of experimental electronic writing: words, sound, images, animation, music and voice performance are developed simultaneously –depending on each other – in one long single process.
