Today, Wilfried continues the collaboration with MIVA – a multidisciplinary festival operating in Quito/Ecuador, starting already on 24 August 2012 by presenting a selection from CologneOFF – Art & the City. Besides Peru, Ecuador was the only South Americal country which Wilfried had not visited before, so he was not only curious, but also eager to find possibilities for visiting the country, because such long distance travels require a lot coordinating. Unfortunately, there were always reasons why different travel venues could not be coordinated with each other, and after Wilfried had his horrifying accident in 2017, the physical conditions did not allow another long distance travel.
Already as a child, Wilfried was interested in South American archeology and the history before the Spaniards were conquering Latin America, especially the ancient aboriginal cultures. So by installing contacts to nearly all South American countries he felt connected with that particular spirit, he had experienced during his previous travels.
Today, Wilfried is presenting a selection from CologneOFF X – Total Art- the festival is running until 14 September 2014. Next year in 2015, Wilfried will continue his collaboration with MIVA; but in 2017 it will be fourth and last time, so far.

Nace con la vocación de difundir y promover las artes audiovisuales en la formación de nuevos públicos, gestores y acciones multidisciplinarias
MIVA es un espacio donde se interactúa los diversos dispositivos visuales y sonoros con las artes escénicas (danza, teatro), artes plásticas, diseño, fotografía y toda herramienta que el artista pueda utilizar como medio de expresión y comunicación reflejando en ella una realidad un entorno desde su perspectiva artística, logrando de esta manera socializar y pluralizar las manifestaciones culturales desde sus diferentes ejes de acción dinamizando la actividad cultural, social, educativa de la sociedad en general.
MIVA is one of the first projects of its kind and, through its 7 previous versions, it has become one of the artistic manifestations of research, promotion and dissemination with the most media impact within audiovisual and multidisciplinary art in the country
It was born with the vocation of disseminating and promoting audiovisual arts in the training of new audiences, managers and multidisciplinary actions
MIVA is a space where the various visual and sound devices interact with the performing arts (dance, theater), plastic arts, design, photography and any tool that the artist can use as a means of expression and communication, reflecting a reality in an environment from its artistic perspective, thus achieving socialize and pluralize cultural manifestations from its different axes of action, energizing the cultural, social, educational activity of society in general.
