CologneOFF 2011 is leading Wilfried today to a country full of secrets – Laos. in its capital Vientiane, the international film festival –
is taking place, the event is mysterious as well, as it is not clear whether it is taking place, at all, and if yes, what might be the venue, but in the end everything is confirmed, but no chance for Wilfried to attend due to local political issues. Afterwards the festival was discontinued, but in 2015 re-activated for one saison.

The 12th May was also a relevant date for Wilfried’s participation in Actually an online festival, and its geographical location therefore does not really matter, the place Den Haag is in so far interesting, as Den Haag, differently than Rotterdam or Amsterdam, is generally not known as a home for moving images or new media. Wilfried is participating in the festival in 2006, 2007 and 2008. In 2009, Streaming Festival goes offline for the first time and organises a physical screening event at a local (Den Haag based) gallery “The Geborgen Kamers” – its activities are meanwhile discontinued, as well as Streaming Festival as a festival. Besides Wilfried, who had complemented his activities around video and new media by providing additional sources of information in shape of interviews (Interview Collection) or the artists database (AND), also Streaming Festival published interviews with the participating artists, and- so Wilfried did.
